Here is our section where we will reveal all the cut scenes from Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace.
Even if you NEVER saw these on the original theatrical 1999 version, the scenes were on the novelization or on the Screenplay. Or where either shot but deleted on the final cut. If you want to share some cut scense we do NOT have email us HERE


ANAKINS DREAM
This was on the book of Terry Brooks. Anakin was dreaming after he fell asleep on his pod engine before checking it on the race and Padme woke him up before Anakin mentioned his dream. Just NOTE: If youre curious abuot the cut scenes just by the novelization of Terry Brooks and read it okay?


DARTH MAUL IS A HIGH JUMPER
There was this duel shot on the catwalks with the energy beams. And the sanskrit operatic song of John Williams started playing. Darth Maul surrounded the Jedi and the Sith Lord jumped high like a ninja. The theory is Williams requested a delete to fit the recordings during a spotting session.


DARTH MAUL IS PROTECTING THE VICEROYS
Didnt we read the book and learn that Darth Maul said I am going to the main hangar to rid you of the Jedi once and for all...? Maybe it was deleted so Darth Maul can be more a man of a few words and a legend of evil, something like that.


JUMPING BONGO
Hey there was this scene where the Jedi and Jar Jar where riding the bongo. It was supposed to drop on a water fall when they didnt know where they were going. This was cut for time purposes.


APOLOGIZING PADME
On the novelization, Padme was supossed to apologize to Anakin for revealing her identity in the end. It was only on that book, maybe but didnt change the story or something. We just need to understand more about Anakin or Padme thats why Brooks added that scene.


DEBRIS WARS
We read that there was a using of the FORCE when Darth Maul and Obi Wan were fighting near the pit. They were using debris like Luke and Darth Vader did on Empire.
It was never shot, maybe. There wasnt too many signs of debris left on the floor. Unless they were slashed and fell into the pit...


THE RAMP OF THE NUBIAN
On the Screenplay, Darth Maul was supposed to jump on the ramp of the Nubian on Tatooine and Qui Gon swung his Light Saber and knocked him to the sand. People will like to see this scene, and hey it was also in the book!


ALTERNATE UNIVERSE
There was confusion on the U.S. where Darth Maul was cut in half on the ending and one had a complete Darth Maul fall on the pit. Maybe it was a scene that was supposed to be cut but was NOT. If George Lucas will make a DVD special edition and make Darth Maul survive the ending, its gonna be a cool remake!!! Maybe Darth Maul was kept into hiding when Darth Sidious borrowed Count Dookus skills to manipulate a war. Interesting.


IM GONNA MARRY YOU!
In the novel, the screenplay and the movie, Anakin was supposed to say something after he told Jar Jar to Hit The Nose of the pit droid. He told Padme that Im gonna Marry You!

Your an odd one, why do you say that?

Because Im sure I will

Your only a little boy!

I wont always be!
Nice scene but maybe reserved for a more special edition if not its a little too obvious that the whole prequel saga was staged and planned on that universe.


ANXIOUS DARTH MAUL
Darth Maul was supposed to twirl his Light Saber twice before attacking Obi Wan trapped in the walls. If you review that shot, youll notice his body slightly turned to the right when he will attack.


CUT PILOT SCENE
Anakin was supposed to land his N-1 with the others and one pilot said They dont teach that at the academy! and on the landing, Anakin opened the cockpit and asked if he was in trouble. The scene was shot on the studios and I think that the reference to the academy was a nice touch.


TATOOINE PILOT
Very, very cool scene on the novelization. Anakin, Wald and Kitster met a pilot on a bar while all were drinking ruby bliels and talking about the race where Anakin was almost smashed with his Racer. But the pilot loved his skills. This was at the beginning of the movie. And if other unecessary lines of dialogue are cut with all these nice scenes, the movie will be greater!
